Laser Gun – sonic shooting practice

Description

It’s a perfect non-visual shooting simulator. To use it you have to plug the target, the gun, and optionally headphones to any computer on which you have to previously install the special program (included). On the shooting target you can see regular concentric rings with various score values, and in the center there is the most valuable field scored 10 points. Aiming system is based on the short sounds the gun makes, they have different rate of occurrence that change accordingly with approaching to the central field. So, when a visually impaired person hears a low tone, he aims at the field that is far from the central field, on the other hand, when one hears the highest tone, after pulling the trigger, he or she will score 10 points! The score scale is calculated with the highest precision and each point is scored with decimal digits. Due to that calculating system it is not that easy to score 10 points! Good scores depend on player’s stress endurance, concentration and a hand steadiness.

There are shooting competitions organized in Poland and they are always a lot of fun - every competitor finds sonic shooting entertaining. The shooting competitions are equally entertaining for visually impaired people, partially sighted and non-disabled participants. To make winning equally accessible for all of them – the participants with a regular sight wear special eye covering googles.
